The iconic “Rock Chalk Jayhawk” chant, one of the most famous in college sports, has been a part of the University of Kansas for over 130 years. Chemistry professor E.H.S. Bailey started it for his KU Science Club in 1886. After some minor changes, the whole school adopted it a year later. You can still hear it at Allen Fieldhouse.
