In 1959 and 1960, the Cincinnati Bearcats reached the Final Four. In 1961, under first-year head coach Ed Jucker, with a balanced attack from Tom Thacker, Bob Wiesenhahn, and Paul Hogue, they defeated Ohio State 70-65 in overtime to win their first national title. And not long after, led by Hogue, Thacker, and Ron Bonham, they beat the Buckeyes again in the national title game, 71-59. This tee is brought to you in partnership with College Vault.
