The Georgia Redcoat Marching Band, known as “The Redcoats,” is the official marching band of the University of Georgia and a crucial part of the football gameday experience. Since 1905, they’ve been an integral part of UGA. They first appeared at a baseball game. During the pregame show, they salute three sides of Sanford Stadium with “Go Dawgs,” spell out Georgia, play “Let’s Go Dawgs” as they approach midfield, and form the Arch while playing “Glory, Glory.”
